Friendships are rebuilt, old wounds are healed.

the period of tranquillity and calmness that can arise when we have finally made difficult decisions, and acted upon them.

if there are any issues about which you feel emotionally sore and unhappy, make a deliberate and conscious effort to get to the high ground, above the situation.

Bake–Session Three

We had Vandale, Dunlap, Milne, Watson, Flores, and me. A great turn out!

This session sucked. I rolled horribly. and I was not really able to run around all that much.

Dunlap rolls a twenty

The Drow Necromantic Workshop.

Brett rolls a twenty

Jack’s Dark Sun Campaign

This was session three. Back in the Bloodsand Arena. We fought and won very easily. We heard cries of murder in the stands and ended on that cliff hanger.

Lisa was rolling ones and a fantastic 20. Kate was caught in webs.

Starting to figure out the pregens a little better.

Jack did a great job as DM.

Apophthegmata Patrum

There was a man who at a lot and was till hungry, and another who ate little and was satisfied.

The one who ate a lot and was still hungry received a greater reward than he who ate little and was satisfied.

Two of Wands

we are in charge of the way that our lives are unfolding…this happens in the fashion we had anticipated.

there is a need to order our future so that we know where we’re headed

the Will functions at all times, in every second of existence.

your Will operates to bring that thought into existence.

On this day, make no easy compromises. Cut straight to the heart of your desires and needs. Discard any thoughts which get in the way of you getting what you want. Make every action and choice a deliberate attempt to get closer to your goal. And enjoy

Courage Factory–Session One

Tomb of Horrors!

we have started building out our characters for the Tomb of Horrors adventure–the plan is to start with four 10 level characters and run them through the adventure. The adventure for 4E appears to be designed to fit into a campaign [with ToH cropping up at level 10, 15, 17, and 22, or something], so we have come up with a rotating DM strategy.

I went first running the characters through the first part of Dungeon Delve for 11th level. We only completed the first encounter of three–so we will continue this on Sunday, before starting the combat with Jack’s Red Dragon YHM.

Here are some pictures that Jack drew.

and also a picture of the dragon.
